Research Interests
Scientific activity devoted to research into the pathogenic potential of Arcobacter, taking interest in the prevalence of this microorganism in food and the environment, its antimicrobial resistance and association with disease in humans. Special emphasis is given to the elucidation of mechanisms behind A. butzleri resistance to antimicrobials.
Also, interested in the antimicrobial activity evaluation of natural and synthetic compounds and their mechanisms of action of bacteria and yeasts.
