The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit is located within CICS-UBI and belongs to the Portuguese NMR Network (PTNMR), the infrastructure of the National Roadmap of Research Infrastructures of Strategic Relevance. According to the PTNMR mission and the strategic program of CICS-UBI, the main objective of the CICS-UBI NMR unit is to create the preeminent conditions for the academic and scientific community using the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance technique. The unit offers high-standard NMR services to scientists and researchers from other institutions and to the industry. The CICS-UBI NMR Unit users receive i) the support and training required to collect NMR spectra alone; ii) scientific support for experimental design and spectra analysis and processing; and iii) continuous education through courses and workshops.
