The main objective of the Curricular Unit is to carry out specific thematic approaches to the research process, crossing them with other knowledges. In this way the students are asked to reflect on epistemological and conceptual questions of the social sciences, which are part of the research and writing of a document processes, embryo of the dissertation, stage or project. This requires exploring authors, sources, images and following procedures; as well as to be able to delimit its object and field of study, to reflect and to analyse contents, to structure the investigation and do a document’ writing within the rules of scientific production.
