Learning outcomes Introduce the main techniques of computer animation and concepts of virtual environments, as well as, the main techniques of 3D modeling. At the end of this course unit the student should be able to:
- Understand the techniques of computer animation and the concepts of virtual environments;
- Produce a computer animation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods At the end of this course unit the student should be able to understand the techniques of computer animation and produce a computer animation. To accomplish this goal, there are theoretical classes that introduce the concepts and practical classes where the student has the
opportunity to apply their knowledge by developing a project, i.e. a short animation film.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
