Learning outcomes Obtain basic knowledge of Probability and Statistics, vital for future learning of more advanced concepts that arise in the course of academic and/or professional training. Select and apply proper statistical methods to draw conclusions under uncertainty in the Biochemestry area.
At the end of the course the student should be able to apply probabilistic and statistical concepts in solving biochemistry problems. Communicate with precision the issues that involve statistical concepts. Use a statistical software in the organization and data processing.

4. Introduction to statistical inference
