Learning outcomes |
This Curricular Unit, consisting of various seminars, has as objectives:
- deepen the knowledge of selected branches of sociology and, within them, some of their themes and research methodologies appropriate to these themes;
- develop the capacity to understand, analyze and discuss the themes and theoretical perspectives, as well as the concepts and investigations presented in the seminars;
- implement capacities through dynamic participation in seminars;
- provide adequate preparation to apply the skills in the development of the PhD thesis.

Researchers with various specialties and with various research experiences present certain themes, in view of the theses to be developed. Therefore, the contents of the seminars framed in this UC may vary depending on the school year.
