Learning outcomes General goals: To be acquainted with some of literary productions canonized by the traditional historiography, which are therefore considered to be central to the studied frame time (16th and 17th c.), continuing the historical approach already begun.
-To use and define basic concepts for literary studies in general, and for that frame time in particular;
-To recognize and describe literary trends of the period;
-To identify, understand and discuss literary fragments, representative of the time, taking into account its context of production;
-To prove maturity, accurateness and ability to develop and express personal (not subjective) ideas;
-To use honestly and appropriately others’ thoughts;
-To relate, from an interdisciplinary point of view, other acquired knowledge or skills.
