Learning outcomes |
General goal:
To reach B2.1/B2.2 level of the CEF, taking into account two specific aspects:
1) The specificity of teaching SFL to Portuguese speakers (cousin languages).
2) The need to train not only competent users in SFL, but also future SFL teachers in Portugal, translators, etc.
Specific goals:
-To understand the main ideas in complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of expertise.
-To interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers without there being tension from part to part.
-To provide clear and detailed descriptions on various topics related to his/her area of expertise.
-To be able to detect and correct interlanguage errors.
-To know the functioning of the linguistic system.
