Learning outcomes Acquire and develop knowledge and skills in the planning of traditional and contemporary sports training, taking into account the specificity of the sports, the competitive plans and the age of the practitioners.

Thus, upon completing the UC, the student must have acquired the following learning results:
• Understand the fundamentals and models for planning sports training;
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and discuss sports planning models and the advantages and disadvantages of using them depending on the sport, competitive plans and the age of the players;
• Demonstrate the ability to identify, categorize and relate the information necessary for the development of planning during the training process depending on the modality, the competitive plans and the ages of the practitioners;
• Design and discuss the planning of a sporting season and the distribution of training content according to the sport, the competitive plans and the ages of the practitioners.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The typology of classes in this UC is theoretical and theoretical-practical, combining exposure to research, discussion and practical work applied to different case studies of various sports in the scope of sports training planning. It is also intended to create a learning environment applied to the problems of the scientific area, so that the more theoretical contents will be presented using practical and concrete examples in the scope of the investigation attached to the planning of the sports training.
The evaluation contemplates a work that will be focused on the understanding of the fundamentals and models of the planning of the sport training and the specifics for the planning of the training process according to the modality, the competitive plans and the ages of the practitioners.
