Learning outcomes This curricular unit (UC) focuses on knowledge of the vision, mission, values, framework and operationalization of the School Sports Program.
The UC has as main objectives the knowledge of the School Sports Program, the development and application of specific Didactics in School Sports, covering the capacities, attitudes and competences related to the teaching and training of sports tasks. As operational objectives it is intended that the student is able to conceive, plan, implement, evaluate and reflect on the activities developed within the scope of the School Sports Program.
Syllabus 1. Framework for School Sports:
1.1. Historical framework of School Sports;
1.2. Vision, mission, values and framework of School Sports.
2. School Sports Organization:
2.1. Identification / knowledge of the organizational structures and dynamics of School Sports;
2.2. Identification / knowledge of School Sport level I, II and III projects and activities.
3. Teaching and Training in School Sports:
3.1. Conception / planning of the teaching / training process in the context of School Sports;
3.1.1. Training and competition process in children and young people;
3.1.2. Long-term athlete development (Long Term Athlete Development - LTAD);
3.2. Observation and analysis of the teaching / training process in the context of School Sports;
3.3. Evaluation of the teaching / training process in the context of School Sports;
3.4. Reflection of the teaching / training process in the context of School Sports.
