Learning outcomes Understanding the principles of pattern making and its relevance to the creative process in clothing design. Understanding not only the specifics of the digital modeling techniques software and constructive in the market, but also the potential experimental, intuitive and emotional just as well as the use of CAD system. Knowledge of the current state of research in the area.
1. Identify and select tables for measures of fashion brands and in different markets, and apply them to the development of clothing pattern base and transformation.
2. Ability to develop and make clothing patterns of manually and in CADSystems, developed in Fashion Design Project I and making studio for clothing industry.
3. Identification of the various shapes of garments complex patterns and their constituents ((main fabric; linings, interlinings and others ..).
4. Ability to prepare complementary patterns parts and processing them of 2D and 3D.
5. Apply knowledge in patterns fashion projects multidiciplinare
Syllabus 1. The advantages and disadvantages of digital modeling development systems in the industrialization of DM projects. The state of the art in digital modeling research for clothing.
2. Pattern making structured pieces of clothing in digital CAD:
2.1 Man and woman coat and trends of silhouettes and models associated with parameters of wearability.
2.2Techniques of construction and their relationship with digital patternmaking.
2.3 Jacket and trespass coat for men.
2.4 Complementary parts of pattern jacket: collars, low collars, sleeves, pockets and linings.
2.5 Jackets and long overcoats. Construction techniques.
3. Digital Jacket patterns for women.
3.1 The influence of the various conformations in the patterns construction processing.
3.2Jacket belted in the middle room, and met for you. Complementary parts.
3.3 Others complementary pieces.
