Learning outcomes To be able to create textile structures using the different techniques used in the most important sections of the production processes (Dyeing, Printing; Finishing)
Syllabus Brief introduction to color science and technology; Dyeing and Printing aiming the experimental production of goods
Brief introduction to finishing processes with focus on fashionable and special effects
Dyeing using Batik principles, dyeing with thermo sensitive and photo sensitive dyes; finishing with enzymes; Printing nature patterns (biomimetics).
