Learning outcomes This UC is generalist in nature. It is therefore in this perspective that it is expected that the student acquires the basic knowledge and skills to perform functions of responsibility at the Production Function level, or another that, within a company or organization, relate to it.
The student should:
-Understand the terminology, concepts, principles and methodology of Production / Operations Management;
-Relate Production Function with other functional areas of the Company;
-Apply the appropriate models, techniques and methods in Production / Operations Management;
-Understand the principles and organizational structure of the new strategies of Operations;
-Evaluate the implementation of models, techniques and / or fundamental methods of Production / operations Management, in real situations;
-Categorize written material in journals on various aspects of Production / Operations Management.
