Know to theory and practise basis of Control System theory
Determine mathematical representations of physical and control systems

Obtain knowledge of Industrial Automation, particularly related of industrial processes
Know to identify the devices of process control systems (Programmable Logic Controller –PLC, networks, sensors,
actuators)
Know PLC programming languages
Know how to change control parameters in PLC
Supervise industrial automation systems
Skills:
Participate actively in this area assisting in further development or progress, and at technical and project levels
Integration in industrial and business environments in the fields of industrial automation and control, as well as in
research teams, awakening the interest by the scientific method, by innovation and entrepreneurship

Industry 4.0. Principles, components, challenges and applications of Industry 4.0.
PLC – Programmable Logic Controllers. Constituent components of PLCs. Internal structure and operation.
