Learning outcomes In this UC it is intended that the student deepen the theoretical and methodological knowledge in the analysis of the processes of civic, ethnic and cultural social inclusion, based on the relationship between the concepts of citizenship and multiculturality. The student should be able to:
1) to evaluate the contemporary contexts of social and political participation, its repercussion on the logics of collective action and its relation to ethnic and cultural identity;
2) to understand the specificities of multiculturalism at national, regional and local levels and the relationship they establish with active citizenship, participation and socio-cultural inclusion;
3) to understand the process of identity construction and its impact on the logics of collective action.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the UC the student should be able to interpret and critically discuss the theories of citizenship, the dynamics of civic participation and the theoretical and practical issues of multiculturalism.
