Learning outcomes 1. Select a field of research in the arts and present the state of the art;
2. Develop a working plan using an appropriate methodology.
3. Present his/her own research clearly and consistently.
Syllabus 1. Participation of students in guest conferences, within the scope of the activities of Labcom-Comunicação e Artes, Arts group and promoting participation in other scientific/artistic events.
2. Semiannual presentation sessions to discuss ongoing investigations, before the faculty and researchers of Labcom-Comunicação e Artes.
3. Participation in the organization of the iArtes event.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Students are asked to participate in activities and present their own work. This participation and presentation are included in the assessment since, at the level of doctoral research, autonomous research is privileged as well as involvement in academic activities such as the organization of events.
