Learning outcomes Placing students in position to do practical journalistic work in prfesional environment and also to reflect about choices and roles of journalism.
To know and practice techniques to produce journalistic texts in its different genres. To evaluate and deal with news sources. To gather, filter and rank data for news production. To choose subjects and angles of approach.
Syllabus 1. Relationships with news sources: quality, trust, confidentiality. 2. The cycle of journalistic production: searching, planning, choosing, ranking, writing and editing. 3. The practice of diverse genres: newstories, interviews, profile, analysis. 4. Features and reporting: doing fieldwork, deepening the information and structuring texts.
