Entry requirements To have basic knowledge in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Mode of delivery Face to face classes, involving faculty and guest speakers, and in the form of self-learning by the student supervisioned by a docent/researcher.

Learning outcomes The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the research process within the Health Sciences, from conception and maturation of the idea to the dissemination of scientific results, and the main inherent aspects.
Thus, it is intended that the student can:
-plan a research and knows how to produce, analyze and communicate information/knowledge acquired through scientific research;
-assume a scientific attitude in addressing problems to be solved;
-integrate their work into a global multidisciplinary research plan;
At the end of the course, students should have in mind the foundations for developing the research project leading to their Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree and have conceived and matured the concrete basic idea and general plan of the same.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Classes will be theoretical-practical, involving the interactive presentation of seminars and the application of knowledge through practical work.
Score = 0.45 x classification of 1stFreq. + 0.45 x classification of 2ndFreq. + 0.1 x classification of research project.
For granting frequency, it is mandatory to perform the 2 frequencies and the project (written document and existence of supervisor), and have a grade of not less than 6 values.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
