Learning outcomes Develop in a supervised context the professional practices according to the professional profile and professional occupations defined in the goals of the course.
Provide students with the experience of professional practice in a specific context and under professional supervision according to the professional profile and professional occupations defined in the goals of the course (Exercise and health / athletic training / education / sport management). Critical reflection on the intervention / problems experienced in a professional context, using this practice as an opportunity to participate and understand the sports organizations in which the internship is being conducted, as well as other entities and members of the sporting and social community.
Syllabus 1 - Internship Report :
1.1. Characterization of the institution and context;
1.2. Definition of goals;
1.3. Definition of intervention strategies;
1.4. Methods of evaluation and control activities;
1.5. Internship report;
1.6. Critical reflection on the internship (strong and weak points, achievement of objectives).
2 - Professional intervention in the context of the internship.
3 - Training report:
3.1. Framework and characterization of activities developed on the context of the internship;
3.2. Characterization of the institution and available resources;
3.3. Characterization and diagnosis of the target population;
3.4. Definition of goals for the internship;
3.5. Organization of the intervention during the internship (planning and periodization, structure adopted, developing the internship, professional intervention);
3.6. Monitoring Intervention in different tasks (registration and control of the activities performed).
Main Bibliography To be defined according to the area of intervention and the needs of the students.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The typology of classes in this UC is basically tutorial tutorial and tutored internship. The placement of tutored internships will work in accordance with the UBI Internships regulations, based on legislation relating to the realization of curricular internships, as well as the legislation regarding the national trainer training program. The teaching methodology is based on the tutorial guidance provided by the internship coordinator and the internship tutor, for the completion of the internship report and the Internship Dossier / Training Dossier, as well as to support professional intervention in the internship context. The evaluation contemplates the evaluation in the performance of the defined functions with regard to professional intervention in the context of an internship. An evaluation of the internship report will also be carried out, which will include the assessment of the document and its oral presentation, highlighting the reflection on the intervention during the interns
