Learning outcomes -Acquire sociocultural competence of Spanish culture to be able to use and interact with other actors in the world of cultural creative industries. -Know and critically discuss each of the historical periods analyzed. -Summarize the main points of each historical period analyzed. -Argument coherently, one or more aspects of History and Art of Spain analyzed. -Relate and compare sociocultural elements. -Make a comparative study of sociocultural themes. -Contrasting two cultures, discerning cultural elements. -Activate intercultural consciousness.
Syllabus 1) Brief History of Spain (main artistic movements). 2) History of 'the everyday': 2.1.Personal relationships 2.2. Social relations. 2.3. Body language and gestures. 2.4. Social conventions. 2.5. Values, beliefs and attitudes. 2.6. Mirrors of spanish reality. 2.7. Ritual behavior.
Main Bibliography The teacher will provide the audiovisual resources and all the materials necessary to accompany the UC, selected from the complementary bibliography, online documentaries, etc. They will be made available on the Moodle platform, so they should be consulted regularly by students.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Theoretical-practical classes. Examples of activities: -Projection of multimedia material related to the History and Art of Spain. -Summary and critical commentary of the designed materials. -Guidance and guide for the elaboration of a comparative work on Spanish and Portuguese cultures. -Elaboration of critical summaries about the different historical periods analyzed and/or documents distributed in class. -Debates on the learned sociocultural content and on the intercultural relationship.
