Learning outcomes Master de main circuits of newsmaking. Master the techniques of journalistic writting, and audio and video editing, applying them to different journalistic genres.
Knowledge of the newsroom routines in tv, radio, press and the web. Developing autonomy, critical sense and self responsability towards the newsroom chores. Reflecting on the sense, adequateness, and ethical backgroung of the journalistic work.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Students choose an area in which they wish to be assessed, and must complete the number of works indicated for the chosen aspect, which is detailed below:

Hypothesis 1: Web journalism and radio
Hypothesis 2: Web journalism, radio and television

Only one news item per week is permitted and all work will be submitted by the last class of the semester. Each missing piece of news has a grade of zero and if the student does not achieve a final average of 10 (ten) they will be classified as NOT ADMITTED.
In all cases, the final classification will take into account the commitment, participation and sense of responsibility expressed by the student (10%).
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
