Learning outcomes In this UC is intended that the student learn to embed, control, synchronize and transform different types of media on the Web. For this, we start by presenting a brief history of multimedia on the Web. A review of the different encoders and different standards are presented and are also presented forms of format conversion. Is also referred the problems related to copyrights. After this introduction, the existing methods are presented that allow the incorporation, control, synchronization and processing of different media types on the Web.
At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
-LO1: Characterize the area of multimedia in the web, its approaches, fundamentals and applications;
-LO2: Develop applications using the techniques taught in this course.
