Learning outcomes Preparation of the proposed doctoral thesis, under the Ph.D. supervisor chosen by the student. Doctoral thesis proposal.
Syllabus This curricular unit allows students to develop research work leading to the proposal for the doctoral thesis. This proposal is a written document which must include, inter alia, the state of the art in research area, the identification and description of the problem to solve, techniques or methods that will be used, an estimate of deliveries and a schedule plan, which should include a temporal prediction of implementing the various stages necessary for the doctoral thesis and the results, such as publications.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The thesis proposal will be evaluated by a jury composed of at least two professors, including the supervisor and the course director, in a public seminar.
