Learning outcomes |
Allow students to acquire clinical knowledge and essential skills that allow them to practice medicine as general practitioners. At the end of the curricular unit, the student should be able to know how to prevent, diagnose and treat the most common diseases of the female digestive and reproductive system, interpret the semiological data obtained through the correct performance of clinical history and physical examination of consultants/patients, relating them with the respective pathophysiology, perform medical procedures, communicate appropriately with patients and their families and with different health professionals.

Syllabus |
Reproductive health, cancer screening and sexually transmitted diseases, assistance for pregnant women, women in labor and postpartum women. Study of the most frequent diseases of the female digestive and reproductive systems and clinical approach to different diseases. Learning how to take the history and carry out the clinical examination, selection and prioritization of complementary tests to be used, guidance and therapeutic decision, execution of procedures and medical treatments, exercising an adequate interaction with the patient.
