Learning outcomes Development of an urban design intervention.
Elaboration of a project seen as a critical task and interpretation of reality.
- Domain of the Elementary Systems, Typologies and Structures that make up the city.
- Understanding and analyzing data from other disciplines as a fundamental part of the study of the city and the landscape. Use and interpretation of said data.
- Domain of the basic parameters of the analysis of the urban structure (urban models, qualities of the city, basic geometries, ways of living).
- Recognition of urban intervention as a complex and interdisciplinary process.
- Understanding of urban design as an interpretation of the city and the landscape. The formal articulation of space through the idea.
Syllabus What is Urban Design.
Evolution and what is meant by a good urban design today.
Good Practice Study.
Preparation of a project taking into account the following programmatic aspects: I - Methods and Techniques II - Streets and Squares III - Green Spaces IV - Ornaments and Decoration V - Health and Urban Environment.
