Main Bibliography |
The main bibliography for the PhD Thesis Project and Seminar course will depend on the specific topic of research. Still, it can include a combination of academic journals, books, and conference papers. Some commonly used resources include: Research methods textbooks: Books that provide an overview of research methods and techniques, including laboratory or fieldwork, Computational mathematic, and data analysis. Scientific journals: Peer-reviewed academic journals that publish original research articles in a specific field. Conference proceedings: Collections of papers presented at academic conferences can provide a snapshot of current research trends and advances. Books on scientific writing: Guides and textbooks that provide advice and techniques for writing scientific articles, including structure, style, and content. Books on collaboration and communication: Works exploring the skills and strategies needed to communicate research findings effectively with others.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
In tutorials/meetings with the supervisor/s, students will be presented with recent scientific studies and practical and theoretical content, including publications, on advances in the research area to be explored. Students will independently develop research reports and synthesise recent scientific studies under the supervisor's supervision to deepen their knowledge. In the laboratory (if applicable), students will apply the knowledge acquired, developing preliminary experimental work related to the topic of their PhD thesis. Intensive knowledge transmission will be facilitated through workshops, seminars, and conferences organised by the tutors/research groups. Students will also be encouraged to participate in research activities within their laboratory or research group to gain practical experience.
