Aiming to provide students their autonomy while understanding Aesthetics and the aesthetic as interpretative models for reality itself, this curricular unit also intends to boost the debate of themes that gather general interest, without overlooking the stimulus to students creative capacities.
At the end of this curricular unit, students must: be able to identify the main development stages of the sensitive condition of thought as that competence which will allow them to recover a self-comprehension of Aesthetics as doctrine of sensibility; to recognize the dimension of the aesthetic which is held to the theme of a demise of the ideal of an objectivity of taste now launched in the understanding of a more deep meaning of the topic of intersubjectivity, which is characterized as expression of a spontaneous agreement between singulars;know how to grasp the meaning of the ageless theme of the relation between Art and Nature, connecting it to the problem of a specific aesthetic attitude
