To enable students to acquire the knowledge, the skills and the necessary attitudes to face the more prevalent health problems in General Practice / Family Medicine in their practice context. To enable students to perform a person centered consultation in accordance with the SOAP model.

Syllabus |
Respiratory, gynecological, endocrinological, digestive and cardiovascular diseases in General and Family Medicine: identification of the most frequent signs and symptoms and their most frequent risk factors. Nutrition and Physical Activity. Smoking. Prevention and Therapeutics. Reproductive health and concepts of family planning, contraception and surveillance of low-risk pregnancies. Complementary means of diagnosis. Communication. Patient safety. Consultation in the environment of General and Family Medicine according to the SOAP method. Communication in Health, Small Things Ethics, Person Centered Medicine, Medical Empathy and Consultation Training.
