Entry requirements |
The student should have knowledge of trigonometry and should know how to solve systems of linear equations. The student should know the concepts of derivative and limit and should be able to calculate some simple derivatives.
|
Mode of delivery |
The course is structured with theoretical classes – T (exposition of the subjects of the course and presentation of small practical examples and computational simulations) and practical classes – TP (application of theoretical concepts to solve practical problems.

Learning outcomes |
The objective of this curricular unit is that students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of physical concepts useful in Life Sciences and Biotechnology concerning mechanics and electromagnetism. A student completing this course should be able to identify, interpret and analyze elementary physical situations involving classical mechanics and classical electromagnetism.
