Learning outcomes Establish a methodology of its own and an individual process that adapts in a natural way to each student. Establish differences, allowing a constant heterogeneity that conflicts to a homogeneity in the participation and development of each work.
Promote the spirit of research, participation and confrontation of ideas at the theoretical and practical level (project).
To promote the theoretical debate on the main movements and architectural trends, trying to position the students in the face of the dogmas, paradigms and vicissitudes of the times, of the societies and the respective contexts. Analyze, debate and confront the various positions in the architecture.
Provide the student with different and complex situations, promoting a spontaneous approach and his creative potential, encouraging him to a balanced proposal taking into account the legislation and the technical aspects of the proposed exercises.
Alert the student to ecological problems.
Syllabus 1 The central theme that structures the program of this discipline is the project of detail in a constant relation and dialectic between architecture and construction.
2 Theoretical and practical concepts about the different phases and moments of architectural design. The methodology and the creation of a project process valid to respond to the requirements of the proposed programs and technical solutions.
3 Means and methods of analysis, reading and representation of spaces, whether architectural or technical. Notions of program, infrastructures, scale, user, idea, model and materiality.
4 The detail as strategy and action that potentiates the various dimensions of inhabiting.
5 The various scales of representation as implication of new relationships of topological, typological and tectonic character; the detail as the basis of response to the premises through the combination of all specialties.
6 Reflection from the micro scale, the potentialities of detail as energy of a space.
