Learning outcomes - Perform the sequence of appropriate eye exams for the visual evaluation of patients with specific profiles.
- Apply a visual screening protocol to specific populations and draft referral reports to other health professionals.
Syllabus Practical / clinical skills:
- Perform the appropriate ocular exams for the visual and visual-percetual evaluation of a pediatric patient.
- Apply a visual pediatric screening protocol to children with redaction of a referral report to other health care professionals.
- Perform the appropriate ocular exams for the visual evaluation of a geriatric patient.
- Apply a protocol of visual geriatric screening to the elderly with redaction of a referral report to other health professionals.
- Perform the appropriate ocular exams for the visual evaluation of a low vision patient.
