Learning outcomes Development of individual project with exploration of cultural repertoire and artistic submersion in the creation process in order to reinforce the creative aspects in product development with consistent research and coherent relationship to the situations of use. In this way, the teaching-learning process guides the student to:
• Enrich cultural and imagery repertoire and develop creative skills;
• Develop the capacity to research and solve problems in new, multidisciplinary and complex situations;
• Apply and relate acquired multidisciplinary knowledge;
• Develop and apply the project methodologies of fashion design;
• Select and apply experimental techniques to support the creative process,
choice of shapes and materials;
• Train for the practice of the project with the construction of its own bibliography
and submerging the creative process with organisation and planning;
• Autonomy in the perception and presentation of an original argument;
Syllabus The theoretical introduction presents the relationship of projective methodologies with multidisciplinary contents and the demonstration of author design projects, projects focused on industry and projects in performance contexts.
The practical theoretical content of this UC focuses on the early stages of design design methodology with an emphasis on:
1) research and analysis (contexts, audiences, materials, trends, inspirational references, etc.);
2) definition of briefing;
3) creative process (methodological practices),
4) experimentation to generate options to the creative process and for validations to the confection,
5) graphic representation (technical drawings, illustrations, portfolio, etc.) of which part of the work developed serves as the basis for the application of CAD systems in specifications and representations in partnership with UC Clothing Modeling.
6) written document (based on scientific) an authorial proposal with original argument.
