1. Introduction to fashion theory. Fashion as system. Activity of fashion designer. Functions and responsibilities. Fashion calendar. Main agents and fashion fairs. 2. Fashion project methodology. Creation process steps: research types, target market and products’ definition, choice of concept, definition of colors and materials, illustration and projective drawing of shapes and design proposals. 3. The main clothing design elements. Color Theory. Materials for fashion. Creativity, design and innovation. Translation of behavior and consumption macrotrends in fashion products. 4. Fashion drawing. The body and their proportions. Presentation of manual, digital and mixed illustration techniques. Introduction to the fashion illustration and technical drawing practice (digital).
