Learning outcomes |
The Curricular Unit – Drawing I - aims to develop the ability to observe and the ability (knowledge) of the act of drawing as a means of representation, as well as to enhance and develop the sensitivity and imagination of the students to the plastic, icon-plastic and iconic values. To recognize that the development of the capacity for observation implies knowledge of the correspondent perceptive systems as well as of drawing as a privileged mean for comprehension and understanding of the world of architecture. Recognize that drawing is the graphic expression of an intentionality that must seek its matrix in the assimilation and accommodation of knowledge (Piaget). Knowledge that, by that process will be transformed into an individual and subjective way about the external reality, the heritage of Design and Architecture, as well as of the means of expression and perception. Drawing is learned by drawing and reflecting on their practice.
