At the end of this course unit the student should: Analyze the main aspects of microbiology and pathological anatomy; To analyze the pathophysiology of the gastrointestinal, renal, hematological, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, osteo-articular, endocrine and metabolic systems Know how to apply knowledge of Microbiology, Pathological Anatomy, Pathophysiology and in the approach of patients Know the most frequent clinical syndromes

Reversible and irreversible cell injury; acute and chronic inflammatory reaction: neoplasia; vascular pathology. Main aspects of cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, hematological, neurological, endocrine-metabolic, osteo-articular pathophysiology. Main aspects of the pathophysiology of the processes associated with surgery Diagnosis in Microbiology, characteristics of Gram positive and negative cocci, Gram negative bacilli, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, virology, mycology and parasitology.
