Learning outcomes |
The main objective of this curricular unit (CU) is to enable students to participate in the research/intervention process, preparing them to develop a project that could eventually serve as the basis for their thesis/project/internship with report. The aim is to stimulate scientific thinking and promote the application of analytical methods in the study of specific phenomena from the perspective of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (ESI).
At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - Understand the basic principles and stages of the research/intervention process; - Deepen their knowledge of the theory and practice of research/intervention in the field of ESI; - Apply social science research methods and techniques in the context of ESI; - Design a research/intervention project (plan); - Demonstrate ethical and moral values in the construction of knowledge.

Syllabus |
1. The scientific research process versus social intervention 2. Research/intervention project: title, theme and problem, theoretical review, objectives and hypotheses, research methodology and design, schedule, references. 3. The realization of the research/intervention: collecting data, data processing, analysis and interpretation of data, writing of scientific work; conceiving and designing an action plan. 4. Preparation of a research/intervention project (application).

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Teaching-learning assessment is made up of three elements: 1) Exploration of one or more research/intervention techniques to be included in the individual project; 2) Oral presentation of the individual project; 3) Final work on the individual project.
