This laboratory (24 m2) is equipped with 3 flow cytometers: i) an Accuri C6 (Becton Dickinson, BD), a compact cytometer equipped with a blue and red laser, two light scatter detectors, and four fluorescence detectors with optical filters optimized for the detection of FITC, PE, PerCP, and APC; ii) a FACScalibur (BD), which provides a user-friendly multicolor analysis, equipped with 488 nm and 635 nm lasers, capable of detecting up to four fluorescent signals; and a iii) high-speed analyzer CyAn (Beckam Coulter) that can measure up to 9 colors (2 of the violet, 5 of the blue, and 2 of the red, lasers). These instruments allow to analyze biological cells, beads or other microscopic particles. With their multi-color capabilities, a wide range of flow cytometric research and clinical demands can be performed, such as immunophenotyping and cell viability analysis. Additionally, there is an AutoMACS cell separator (BD), and all the necessary materials for experiments related with flow cytometry.
