1) Prepare students for the practice of medicine in the XXI century 2) devellop understanding health and disease in their personal and social dimensions, 3) promote awareness of the health needs and problems of the region, country and world; 4) Understand the patient in its human dimension, encouraging communication skills and empathy with the same, 5) promote the early introduction of teaching with the patient in a hospital environment and their community through systems personalized tutoring; 6) Promote awareness of the health system and its institutions and the management of health resources; 7) encourage the understanding of the ethical dimension of the medical act and health care in general; 8) Develop a critical mind, self-assessment and long life learning; 9) the ability to foster teamwork; 10) Provide involvement in research projects in basic science, clinical or epidemiological investigation; |
