Syllabus Introduction to Networked Systems Administration
Components of a Systems
Servers
Storage
Networking
Linux Systems Management: Execution Levels and Services, Representation and creation of Users and Groups; Quota Management; TCP/IP configuration; Log Management; Task Scheduling; Kernel, Modules and Boot Loaders, File Systems, Backups, Servers.
Network Services: DNS (Domain Name System), NTP (Network Time Protocol), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), Servidor WWW Apache, Email, NFS (Network File System), VPN access.
Linux as Router and Firewall.
