Learning outcomes |
Represents a first approach to the scientific research (methodology) in psychology, aiming, on the one hand, to promote a favorable attitude to scientific research and, on the other hand, to develop basic skills in the field of research (methodology). At the end, the student should be able: To know characteristics of scientific knowledge and requirements that must be respected in an investigation; To describe basic characteristics of research in psychology; To know different research methodologies; To learn how to research and select scientific literature, produce an academic text and properly reference the sources used; To know and follow ethical principles inherent to scientific and academic work; To reflect on ethical issues in research .

- The basics and introductory elements of (Methodology) Research in Psychology. - Literature search and selection (Location and access to sources of information, identification of the characteristics of scientific publications). - Reading, analysis and writing of scientific texts (Organization and literature review ; academic writing, referral norms). - Ethics in psychological research.
