Learning outcomes |
Goals:
- Internalize the role of Neuropsychology;
- Eliciting the neuropsychological bases of human behavior;
- Describe the assumptions of neuropsychological assessment in various human manifestations
- Develop a basic knowledge of the Chair Introduction to Neuropsychology
At the end of this UC the student must:
- Analyze and understand Neuropsychology in detail;
- Understand the scientific foundations of Neuropsychology;
- Understand the context of neuropsychological intervention;
- Demonstrate skills of relationship with others, of communication, resource mobilization, active behavioral attitudes, morally healthy and ethical, exposing themselves to the criticism of their peers, respecting them.

Syllabus |
1. Emphasis on neuropsychology, to reflect its growing influence on cognitive psychology.
2. Cognition and emotions - their relation to consciousness.
3. Coverage of applied topics such as recovered memories, medical knowledge, informal reasoning, emotion and reasoning.
4. Focus on individual differences in areas including long-term memory, excellence, reasoning, and emotion.
