Learning outcomes This UC has the aim of presenting the main models for understanding psychopathology and show the reciprocal influences of biological, psychological and social factors. The UC also aims to acquire knowledge on identification and characterization of the most common mental disorders on childhood and adolescence.

At the end of this curricular unit, student should be able to:

1. Show knowledge about theoretical models of understanding psychopathological changes, within an integrative and multidimensional perspective;
2. Show and reflect critically about the main systems of diagnostic classification
3. Show theoretical knowledge on identification and characterization of the major psychopathological disorders of childhood and adolescence;
4.Develop critical thinking about the ethical and deontological implications on identification and characterization of psychopathological disorders;
5. Communicate ideas, problems and solutions
