Considering Theory as a way of providing students with reflective and constructive autonomous and independent constructive criticism of both models and lines of architectural thought, presenting in a clear way the main theoretical concepts that are part of the disciplinary body of Architecture and Theory of Architecture. It is intended that the discipline of Theory of Architecture II be the basis of knowledge and reflection throughout the course of Architecture making the student aware of the importance of research and analysis in the methodology of the project, in the reasoning, in the argumentation and in the critical spirit proper to the theory of architecture and, consequently, of architectural practice. It is sought that this discipline should be an instrument of support to the Project allowing to enable each student with his own critical interpretation and independent choice through reflection on the thinking and discourse of various authors.
