Learning outcomes This course aims to provide a theoretical and substantive knowledge of the sociological paradigms of analysis of urban issues of both classical and contemporary sociology and the main domains of empirical investigation of the processes of urbanization in contemporary societies, especially those that have been developed in Portuguese society.
