Learning outcomes 1 - Identify and describe the different existing political systems.

2 - Describe, analyze and understand the relations between the different types of political systems and the mass media.

3 - Understand the functioning of the Estado Novo and the importance of the media for its affirmation.

At the end of UC the student should be able to:

A) delimit, relate and operationalize the concepts of "political system" and
Mass media ';

B) identify and describe the main models of interaction between 'political systems' and 'mass media';

C) to examine, evaluate and discuss the role of the mass media in shaping the different types of 'political systems'.
