Provide an overview of practical knowledge for designers of Electrotechnology and Lighting Technology including: Electrical energy system (Production, transport and distribution), electrical technology and electrical materials, analysis of electrical circuits in direct current and alternating current, safety rules for the use of electric energy, efficiency of an electrical device, properties of light, Artificial light production technologies and the legal requirements for artificial lighting.
