Learning outcomes |
Percieve the importance of CAD systems applied to the Textile and Clothing Industry.
Knowing how to use, in real context, computer applications for creating clothing models, simulation of fabrics and knits and creation of printed fabrics.
Learn to apply the programs studied when creating collections.

Syllabus |
I – Introduction to textile CAD systems. Fields of application and relative importance of CAD systems in creative and productive processes.
II – Brief understanding of color science. Handling drawings with application in textile printing., using image program, Kaledo Print. Practical exercises on image processing and preparation of drawings for the printing room: reduction of colors and arrangement of the repetition of the drawing. Digital printing: preparation of images.
III – Computer-aided design of regular fabrics of warp and weft. Development of practical cases using the simulation of fabrics program, Kaledo Weave.
IV – Computer-aided design of knitted patterns. Development of practical cases using the simulation program of knit fabrics, Kaledo Knit.
