Syllabus Thematic areas
1 - Talk about preference and personal tastes;
2 - talk about punctual actions in the past;
3 - talk about frequent actions and habits in the past;
4 - describe people, places and situations in the past;
5 - occupations and professional opportunities;
6 - traditional Portuguese tales;
7 - give advice, orders and make suggestions.

Grammar
1 - prepositions and prepositional phrases;
2 - verbal conjugation (past tense of the indicative, past tense of the indicative, imperative);
3 - pronominal verbal constructions;
4 - verbal periphrases;
5 - direct and indirect complement pronouns.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Contributing to the achievement of the learning objectives, the adopted methodology is the communicative approach, seeking to facilitate tools that enable students to achieve a varied lexical repertoire and a solid grammatical and structural competence, allowing them to interact adequately in the target language (Portuguese) and according to the communicative context.
Throughout the sessions, varied reading material is explored, adjusted to the lexical and grammatical contents that correspond to the learning level, and are proposed several exercises and tasks.
The evaluation is continuous, and students are submitted to an evaluation quiz, a listening exam, a speaking exam and a written exam.
