Learning outcomes |
The following items are training goals of this Curricular Unit: to plan, develop and accomplish a scientific research or Internship report, being the student’s task, with the essential tutorial support and with the affiliated supervision held within theoretical environment of the Seminars discipline, to select theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools, within domain of the Studies on Culture, which are considered necessary and understood as the more suitable for the accomplishment of their final work. In this Unit students can also choose to undertake a Project. It’s aimed, finally, that at the end of this Unit, and regardless of the selected working framework, student will be able to exhibit a deep and original understanding of the selected theme.

Syllabus |
Syllabus linked to this Unit are those which are directly connected with the specific nature of the proposals submitted by scholars in the contexts of dissertation, project work or Internship report. The development of contents which are related to the Syllabus of this Unit thus depends essentially, and in a cumulative perspective, on individual work of students, on reunions and discussions with the dissertation, project or Internship report advisor, on conferences and other scientific or professional activities with significance for the final work to be presented by students.

Main Bibliography |
Bibliography will be indicated, exclusively, according to individual proposals for masters’ dissertation or Internship report work, but also on the basis of the themes developed by students, as soon as they are endorsed by their advisors.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The Curricular Unit will be evaluated with the delivery of the Master's Dissertation, Project or Internship Report, according to the deadlines defined by the University of Beira Interior.
