Learning outcomes |
To provide students with the necessary skills to: - The proper development of a scientific research project. In order to write a master's dissertation the following year, students should choose their topic, formulate a starting question, set objectives and hypotheses for research, as well as to know in depth all the methods and techniques available to their objectives. - The writing of scientific articles and academic works. Having in mind the conclusion and defense of academic, original, reflexive and grounded reflections, the rules of scientific writing and research methods that can be applied to film studies must be thoroughly known.

- Introduction to the scientific approach; - Essential rules of academic writing; - Research methods and techniques; - Phases of construction of a scientific investigation (delimitation of the subject, bibliographical survey, theoretical framework, delimitation of the specific object, objectives and hypotheses, choice of methodologies); - Organization and preparation of a scientific research project.
